How are thumbnail timestamps chosen?
Thumbnails are extracted at evenly-spaced intervals throughout the video. For example, 5 thumbnails from a 60-second video will be extracted at 0s, 15s, 30s, 45s, and 60s.
What's the difference between JPG and PNG?
JPG is smaller but lossy (slightly lower quality). PNG is lossless and larger but preserves all details. Choose based on your needs.
Can I extract a single specific frame?
Yes, select "1 Thumbnail" and we'll extract a frame from the middle of your video. For specific timestamps, use a timestamp of 0 for the first frame.
